In late spring of April, clouds and mist gradually rise over Phoenix Mountain in Chaozhou, with greenery spreading across the hills, marking the annual golden tea picking season for Phoenix Dancong tea. On this land that has nurtured a thousand years of tea fragrance, in the tea gardens of Ban Yun Tea Company, tea buds are stretching out, fresh and glistening. Tea pickers move between the rows of tea bushes, gently pinching with their fingertips, harvesting the vitality of spring and nature's gifts one by one, writing the story of this year's first spring Dancong tea harvest.

Chaozhou Ban Yun Tea Company has been deeply engaged in the Phoenix Dancong tea field for over two decades. From its initial cooperative to today's modern tea enterprise integrating tea cultivation, production, trade, scientific research, and tea culture promotion, Ban Yun Tea has always been rooted in the core production area of Phoenix Mountain. With "Phoenix Mountain Waishan" as its brand, it adheres to the core philosophy that "Phoenix Mountain Waishan, Natural Human Excellence", focusing solely on producing high-quality Phoenix Dancong tea.
"Spring tea of the year is as precious as gold". For Phoenix Dancong tea, spring is the best harvesting season of the year. After dormancy and nutrient accumulation throughout the winter, the tea trees now have plump buds and leaves rich in internal substances. The amino acid and aromatic compound content far exceeds that of other seasons, making the tea liquor's freshness, sweetness, and aromatic layers reach optimal quality.

Ban Yun Tea's gardens are located in the premium ecological zone of Phoenix Mountain, where the altitude is suitable, clouds and mist abound, the soil is fertile, and there's a significant temperature difference between day and night, providing ideal natural conditions for tea tree growth. We always follow natural laws and strictly control the timing of picking - selecting only sunny afternoons between 1-4 pm for harvesting, when the fresh leaves have moderate moisture and the aroma begins to emerge. We adhere to the standard of "one bud with two to three leaves", not picking leaves that are too tender or too old, ensuring that each fresh leaf is at its optimal maturity. Hand-picking is gentle to avoid damaging the fresh leaves, preserving their vitality and authenticity to the highest degree.
Good mountains produce good tea, but it takes craftsmanship to make tea well. From fresh leaves to finished tea, Ban Yun Tea follows traditional intangible cultural heritage techniques combined with modern scientific management, going through multiple processes including picking, sun-drying, cooling, oxidation, fixing, kneading, and baking, with excellence pursued at every step.

During oxidation, we control the fermentation degree carefully, allowing the tea leaves to slowly release their natural floral aroma and form the unique "green leaves with red edges" appearance. In the baking stage, we use low-temperature slow-baking techniques to remove astringency, enhance tea fragrance, and lock in sweetness, making the mountain charm and honey notes of Dancong tea more mellow. For years, Ban Yun Tea has always prioritised quality, successively obtaining SC production certification, organic Dancong tea cultivation and processing certification. Our products have been recognised as China Geographical Indication Protected Products and rated as "Highly Popular Geographical Indication Products". Each honour is recognition of our commitment to quality, giving every tea lover peace of mind when enjoying our tea.
"Green organic, premium, high assurance" has always been Ban Yun Tea's unwavering product pursuit. In cultivation, we insist on ecological management, reducing human intervention, avoiding pesticides and chemical fertilisers, protecting the natural ecological balance of tea gardens, and allowing tea trees to grow freely in their natural environment. In production, we have established a comprehensive quality control system, with traceability from garden to cup, ensuring that every tea leaf meets high-quality standards.
Through more than two decades of challenges and progress, Ban Yun Tea has grown from a mountain tea society to a modern tea enterprise. What remains unchanged is our love and dedication to Phoenix Dancong tea and our practice of the "Natural Human Excellence" corporate culture. We only wish to uphold our original intention with craftsmanship, bringing the good mountains, good water, and good tea of Phoenix Mountain to every tea connoisseur and enthusiast.
