In late spring April, clouds and mist gradually rise over Phoenix Mountain in Chaozhou, with greenery spreading across the hills. It's once again the golden tea-picking season for Phoenix Dancong tea. On this land that has nurtured tea fragrance for thousands of years, in the tea gardens of Banyun Tea Company, tea buds are stretching out, fresh and glistening. Tea pickers move through the rows, gently pinching with their fingertips, harvesting the essence of spring and nature's gifts, writing the story of this year's first spring Dancong tea harvest.

Chaozhou Banyun Tea Company has been deeply engaged in the Phoenix Dancong tea industry for over twenty years. From its initial cooperative to today's modern tea enterprise integrating tea planting, production, trade, scientific research, and tea culture promotion, Banyun Tea has always been rooted in the core production area of Phoenix Mountain. With "Phoenix Mountain Outside the Mountain" as its brand, it adheres to the core philosophy of "Natural Mountain, Superior People," focusing solely on producing high-quality Phoenix Dancong tea.
"Spring tea of the year is as precious as gold." For Phoenix Dancong tea, spring is the best harvesting season of the year. After hibernating and accumulating nutrients throughout the winter, the tea trees now have plump buds and leaves rich in nutrients. The amino acid and aromatic compound content far exceeds other seasons, resulting in tea with optimal freshness, sweetness, and layered fragrance.

Banyun Tea's gardens are situated in the premium ecological zone of Phoenix Mountain, with suitable elevation, misty surroundings, fertile soil, and significant temperature differences between day and night, providing ideal natural conditions for tea tree growth. We always follow natural principles and strictly control the timing of harvesting — picking only between 1-4 PM on sunny afternoons when the leaves have the perfect moisture content and emerging fragrance. We adhere to the "one bud with two to three leaves" standard, avoiding leaves that are too young or too old, ensuring each fresh leaf is at optimal maturity. Hand-picking with gentle handling prevents damage to the fresh leaves, preserving the tea's vitality and authenticity to the highest degree.
Good mountains produce good tea, but masterful craftsmanship makes great tea. From fresh leaves to finished tea, Banyun Tea follows traditional intangible cultural heritage techniques combined with modern scientific management, going through multiple processes including picking, sun-drying, cooling, oxidation, kill-green, rolling, and baking. Each step is performed with meticulous attention to detail.

During the oxidation process, we carefully control the fermentation degree, allowing the tea leaves to gradually release their natural floral aroma and form the unique "green leaf with red edges" appearance. In the baking stage, we use low-temperature slow-baking techniques to remove astringency, enhance aroma, and lock in sweetness, making the mountain charm and honey notes of Dancong tea more mellow. For years, Banyun Tea has always prioritized quality, successively obtaining SC production certification, organic Dancong tea planting and processing certification. Our products have been recognized as China Geographical Indication Protected Products and rated as "Highly Popular Geographical Indication Products." Each honor is recognition of our commitment to quality, ensuring every tea lover can drink with confidence and enjoy with peace of mind.
"Organic, premium, high guarantee" has always been Banyun Tea's product pursuit. In the cultivation phase, we insist on ecological management, reducing human intervention, avoiding chemical fertilizers and pesticides, protecting the natural ecological balance of the tea garden, and allowing tea trees to grow freely in their natural environment. In the production phase, we have established a comprehensive quality control system, with every step traceable from garden to cup, ensuring each tea leaf meets our high-quality standards.
After more than twenty years of weathering storms together, Banyun Tea has grown from a mountain tea house to a modern tea enterprise. What remains unchanged is our love and dedication to Phoenix Dancong tea and our practice of the "Natural Mountain, Superior People" corporate culture. We only wish to maintain our original intention with craftsmanship, bringing the good mountains, good water, and good tea of Phoenix Mountain to every person who understands and loves tea.
At this moment, Banyun Tea's 2026 first spring Phoenix Dancong tea is being enthusiastically harvested and processed. The richness of Honey Orchid aroma, the high notes of Duck Shit aroma... various classic fragrance types are being produced one after another, carrying the freshness of spring and the mountain charm of Phoenix Mountain, waiting to meet tea enthusiasts.
